Maple Smoked Butter
Maple smoked butter goes a long way. We break down the steps for you.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup Maple Chips
- 1 lb unsalted Butter
DIRECTIONS
- Soak the chips for up to an hour and set up a cold smoker, smoking gun or a hot smoker can also be used.
- Place the butter in a shallow dish and ignite the chips, reduce to a smolder and smoke the butter for 30 minutes.
- Remove and wrap the butter tightly in plastic and refrigerate.
*If using a hot smoker, follow the same directions on the lowest heat setting. The butter will melt so after it is smoked pour into a bowl, set over ice and whisk until firm.
